Barcelona Beaches

We stayed in Poblenou prior to our cruise last year and the beaches there were less busy. Just watch though as the beach on the left is nudest whereas the beach on the right (looking to the sea) was fine. There was also a beach cafe/restaurant & toilets right at this beach.

We really enjoyed this beach. Clean, nice white sand and clear water. Rented two chairs and an umbrella for 17 euros and also had a good lunch in a beach cafe. Quite a low key atmosphere that was very relaxing. Preferred this beach to Sitges where we did a day trip as there were many annoying and aggressive vendors on the Sitges beach -- lucky to have five minutes peace without a vendor yelling his wares or approaching you in the chair you paid to rent.
