Surfside beach area at Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman had those... they were pricey though... I think it ranged from about $220 up to $380 depending on the type being rented. It was pretty cool to watch though. :)

Depending on where you live they could be offering it. I live in fort lauderdale and think of two places offering it around here.

DH just did it on a land vacay in Honolulu. Very expensive ($140 for 15 minutes) and not nearly as easy as it looks in the promotional videos. He absolutely LOVED it though and wouldn't have missed it for the world. Give it a go if you have a chance...it's a once-in-a-lifetime sort of thing.

I would be afraid of doing a "face-plant" from twenty feet at full speed. Not worth the risk to me.

I agree, I'm one that can never hit my head again and I'd be terrified of doing it. It looks like fun though, but I'll keep my feet firmly planted on land.

In Cayman there is one such operator, Jetpack Cayman.

 

As nunuc2000 noted above, they operate from Surfside Beach.

FYI -- it is very difficult!:eek:

We see them on the beaches here, and we have watched person after person repeatedly do a header straight into the water -- we have never seen a single successful ride!:o
