NCTribeFan Posted November 6, 2013 #27 Share Posted November 6, 2013 Guess I'll find out soon about Conquest and will certainly include that in my review. With all the additional food options (I've sailed Fantasy-class a lot), I hope I don't forget to go in search of another breakfast alternative! :p

okgirl Posted November 6, 2013 #30 Share Posted November 6, 2013 The Taste Bar on Conquest class ships is only the evening venue and is located where the sushi bar use to be. My sister eats at the breakfast taste bar when it's offered and when we were on the Magic last week they also had scrambled eggs in addition to HB eggs....what she loves the best is that the breads are actually warm. I usually stop by there for some HB eggs to bring back to the cabin and keep in the fridge for a late snack.
NCTribeFan Posted November 6, 2013 #31 Share Posted November 6, 2013 Right. Thanks for the Conquest info. Guess I'll stick to my usual made-to-order omelets and try some breakfast burritos, too. :D
fam2cruise Posted November 25, 2013 Author #32 Share Posted November 25, 2013 Wanted to report back...the Taste Bar did have breakfast each day. There were HB and "scrambled" eggs, bacon, baked beans??, and some other odd sides. There were continental offerings like cereal, croissant, Danish, yogurt, and then the lunch meat and cheese selection. Also a fresh fruit. There was coffee and juice as well. At lunch there was a great salad bar located here along with a few buffet style offerings. Then later there was the "taste" which we enjoyed! Very convenient for level 5 cabins!! kristy29 Posted November 25, 2013 #33 Share Posted November 25, 2013 Baked beans is a very common breakfast food in the UK, just FYI.
winddawn Posted November 25, 2013 #34 Share Posted November 25, 2013 So, do they do this on Conquest? Hours? I didn't see the Taste Bar open for breakfast on Conquest earlier this month.
winddawn Posted November 25, 2013 #35 Share Posted November 25, 2013 Baked beans is a very common breakfast food in the UK, just FYI. I remember seeing people eating pork and beans for breakfast when I lived in England. I had to laugh when I saw pork and beans start showing up on Carnival's breakfast buffet a couple years ago. To me, that is the epitome of cost cutting. ;-)
