Question about Playa Nachi Cocom

On a website "Mexico Travelyucatan.com says this about Playa Nachi Cocom a nice beach with windsurfing, jet skis, parasailing, restaurant, bar, swimming pool. No entrance fee.

there is a beach club there that offers free drinks, food, etc. for $55.00 pp and allows a maximum of 100 people per day. My question is... if we went to this beach, would we be able to enjoy the beach, facilities, etc. without buying the $55.00 pp package. We'd buy a drink, but probably wouldn't buy food. Just curious if this is allowed.

Is the beach divided somehow into the public beach area, and then a another designated area is the beach club area?

Thanks for your help. JJ

All beaches in Mexico are public property up to the water line. If you want to use the facilities, chairs, pool, bar, etc. you'll need to pay their AI price.

If you are looking for a beach club but do not want to pay for AI then try either Paradise Beach or the non-AI side of Mr. Sanchos.

Good luck! :)
