reemurcruise Posted November 9, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 9, 2013 Hi We are booked on Carnival spirit next Sept and I put us down for anytime dinning, but not sure if I should just choose a time because I have dietary needs, gluten and lactose free. This is our first cruise and I have read some great reports on here about how accommodating cruises are for people with dietary needs. I believe someone will give me a form to fill out with options for the next day, so does that mean I should stick to the same time for dinning so they will know who I am? Also should I strict to eating in the dinning room? Maree Send from device_name using Cruise Critic your_app_name App

Send an email or call Carnival and ask them what they recommend for your situation. Someone here may be able to give you an answer from their own experience. But it would be a good idea to double check with Carnival. You are already a good cruiser and understanding of the crew:)
Rare LHT28 Posted November 9, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 9, 2013 (edited) Not sure how Carnival handles it for anytime dining The line we sail with they will deliver menus to the cabin the night before I check off what I would like & they adjust it according to my special needs When I go to eat I give them my cabin number & my meals come just like anyone elses But it is always good to confirm they have your special meal prepared I would call the cruise line or speak to the Hotel Managaer as soon as you board Edited November 9, 2013 by LHT28
Kamloops50 Posted November 10, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 10, 2013 My wife Gluten intolerant, we always use the anytime dining . She selects what she wants for supper the next day . If there is more than 1 DR for ATD we always go to the same one. There the Head waiter gets to know what my wife ordered and gives the server her order.
