md2661 Posted November 10, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2013 Past two cruises we have encountered some people who think it is cool to play their music out loud from their smart phones/iPods. I don't care to hear their music as they're walking around the ship. I was very close to stooping to their level and playing some of my music out loud just to prove a point. Has anyone else noticed this and other inconsiderate things on Royal now a day?
Lokip53 Posted November 10, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 10, 2013 Yep, had a group at a table in the Solarium on Grandeur last week that decided to grace all of the surrounding passengers with various country tunes blaring from their iPad. The best part was that they were all talking to each other and not paying any attention to the music. Some people are just oblivious to common courtesy... cruzincurt Posted November 11, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 11, 2013 We had someone blasting music from their Ipod out on the balcony next to us and they weren't even out there. Someone must have complained as it never happened after that sailaway.
cb at sea Posted November 11, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 11, 2013 People have no manners anymore. Just start singing along....they'll get the message! If folks are talking loudly on a phone in public, I assume they want me to join in the conversation, so I listen intently...and make sure they notice!
