Mary Ann 2 Posted November 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2013 We are bringing our two teenage granddaughters on our next Princess cruise, and their mom asked if the teen program has theme nights (like adults have western, 50's, or Island night) that they should be prepared for. I didn't find anything with a search, so said I'd ask here. Surely someone will know....

But there will be evening parties like movie night; dance party nights; hot tub parties.Things like that. But nothing that would require costumes or prior preparation. caribill Posted November 11, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 11, 2013 Many times teens will go to the kids club the first evening just to meet others their own age. Then, unless the planned activities interest them, they will spend much of the days/evenings with their new friends.
sherryf Posted November 11, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 11, 2013 Other than the nights previously mentioned, I recall that one night was Casino Night. It was on a formal night. My son had brought his (band) tuxedo for formal nights and left it on for Casino Night so that he'd look like James Bond. The cute thing is that he "won" a tiny stuffed duck, which he put in his breast pocket and kept it there the rest of the night. Quite a contrast of formal and silly teen.
Cruisin' Chick Posted November 12, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 12, 2013 Many times teens will go to the kids club the first evening just to meet others their own age. Then, unless the planned activities interest them, they will spend much of the days/evenings with their new friends. That was the case for my daughter (last two cruises she was 13 and 15). She became friends and then facebook friends with a couple of the girls a couple of cruises ago, and was happy to find out that one of them was repeating the same cruise too. They found another girl and three boys that they jelled with and hanged out together.
