Can You Request 2 Guarantee Connecting Cabins?

Considering booking 2 OV connecting staterooms for 2015 Gem cruise. Is there such a thing as requesting a "guarantee" for 2 connecting cabins? We plan on booking deck 5 oceanview for the four of us..

I have never heard of being able to request 2 connecting rooms on a guarantee basis. Check with your TA or NCL directly, but I suspect the answer is no.

Doubt it. The whole point of guarantee is that they can put you anywhere in that catagory or higher. It's possible that when they assign cabins there won't be connecting left. Let alone next to each other.

No. Not only will you not be promised connecting cabins, if you book two gty rooms, those cabins could be on different decks on different ends of the ship.

Agree. We know somebody that it happened too. Different decks-- different sides--different ends. Needless to say they weren't very happy, but with a gty ...... you never know. The few times we did it, we were very happy with our assigned cabin

Probably the best way to proceed. I know it is tempting to book a guarantee because the price is cheaper but if you need to have two rooms next to each other or close to one another, don't do it. Enjoy!
