If you are talking of a ship that leaves from San Juan as compared to a ship that is there for the day, 10 pm. Usually you have to be on board by 830. Have Fun!

San Juan PR is Atlantic time zone. They do not have daylight savings. Atlantic is one hour ahead of EST. The ship stays on Atlantic time the entire cruise as all the Islands are the same time zone.
