Discounts on port days?

We plan on staying on the ship on at least one port day and were wondering what kind of discounts were offered. I've heard CCers speak of them but can't seem to find a list.

 

What we're most interested in is going to the specialty restaurants but those seem to be open for dinner only.

The only port day discounts I'm aware of are on spa treatments.

When we cruised on the Gem in '09 (march) some of the pay for restaurants had half price early bird specials on port days.

Oh great idea for me. I don't plan on getting off the ship when in Florida. How good of a deal do you get for spa treatments?

I don't recall... It's probably 10-20%. On the spa menu it will be listed as the "Value" price.

they usually appear In the Freestyle dailies, the day before the port day. As for the specialty dining rooms, normally they do not offer specials on port days.

If you're on the Breakaway, you will receive 10% off the Cirque Jungle Dreams show the first night. You can wait until you board and use OBC or if you book in advance (like we did), you'll receive the credit on you S&S account. Saved us $50!

The spa usually has a $99 special with a massage, reflexology and mini facial which is available on port days. You will see it in the dailies that you get the night before.
