While a lot of machines, too many were the same,

 

a lot of the more modern style of machines that play videos etc

 

seemed to be a lack of good old style big jackpot fruit machines.

 

as to pay outs did not see any big ones, have seen cars and big cash

 

pay outs $20,000 etc on other ships.

On the transatlantic crossing,we met a woman who won $1600 and then $400 on the final night.She already had a tax form the next morning when disembarking.

Play the $1.00 and up slots heavy the first night.You will either win big or lose your backside.Cruise lines love to hook you for the whole cruising by paying off on the first night of the cruise.

You will waste your money on the penny slots.

I had 3 hand pays on the video poker machines playing at the $1 level on the Royal last spring. It was a VIP Casino Cruise and the casino was packed. Many times it was hard to find a machine to play.

Someone mentioned not playing the 'penny' slots, which by the time I play 'feature' and numerous lines turns out more like 25 to 50 cents a spin :rolleyes: Do tend to have a lot of fun with the silly Penquin-type games and wondering if they have any of these on Royal Princess?

Personally, I feel the slot machines on Royal were loose compared to other Princess ships, but then I won some money.....not big money but some! They also have newer slots.

That was my experience on the Royal also and was hoping the Regal might be the same.

 

Any serious gamblers here have any experience on the Regal esp with video poker slot machines? Thanks!
