waydago Posted November 17, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 17, 2013 Off on 21st Nov on Sun Princes 13 nights round trip to NZ. Does this line have theme nights and if so what would be typical? Would they also have at least 2 Formal Nights? Thanks in advance.
Bizziecruzer Posted November 17, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 17, 2013 Your cruise docs will tell you how many formal nights they are. With regard to theme nights - it's generally the staff that participate - e.g. French night, Italian night etc. The food for that particular night in the dining room is then based around this. It is usually up to the cruise director but generally they have country and western, 50's rock and roll, island night or white party ( may also be called the ultimate deck party with no dress up ). I know that we had two formal nights the first one on the first full sea day and the second on the first day after the Fiordland scenic cruising. Checking the Princess Patters we also had a Halloween Fright Night Party with a thriller flash mob and costume parade which a few people did dress up for. This would of course be only held on Holloween. An 'Outback in the Vista' Barn Party dress code as stated in the Patter Anything Country. A Rock n' Roll night in the Vista with Derringer the ships band. A 'That 70's' night Fever Disco in the Vista Lounge with Derringer and Tina Turner so don't go dressed as TT or you could clash.:D Karryl

waydago Posted November 18, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted November 18, 2013 Thanks all for your help. I will pack for Country, R&R and Island. Like to dress up and join in where possible. I'll forgo the 70's dress, will remind me of my youth. LOL
