Hi and welcome to the Regent board. In terms of Business Class air, you had better book it because upsells do not include it. It has been our experience that Regent Business Class air is better than what you could find on your (unless you are using points:-)

Aloha,

For our last two trips, we reserved a standard cabin and took advantage of two business class air upgrade specials: In 2012, the business upgrade charge was offered at 999 each way per person for us from Honolulu to Europe; this year, 2013, we got it for 699 each way pp. We booked onboard last year, and when we saw the special offer of the 699 upgrade price on the Rome to Monte Carlo trip, we switched itineraries to take advantage of the great business upgrade prices. Normally, one might lose something by changing itineraries after booking, but with the onboard booking deal, you can switch one time with no penalty.

Most of what I see for next year looks like the business upgrades are a minimum of 999 pp each way for us, and many of them are currently listed at 1299 pp each way.

Aloha from Hanalei,

Mark
