MS and cruising

A wonderful shore excursion in St Thomas was a day sail/snorkeling on Independece44atpocketmail. with Pat. I explained my mobility issues and she was incredibly accomodating. I told her I may need to cancel l ast minute if I was too weak or fatigued and she accepted that also. I do not use a wheelchair but a rollator and she kept that on her sailboat with us. She has a snorkeling guide to teach/help with the snorkelling and he doubles as her crew. While snorkelling it was made clear to me that if I became fatigued I could just hold on and I would be pulled through the water so that I could still experience it. Yes, getting back on the boat was difficult but with my husband pushing and others helping from above it was doable. I have done it twice now and plan on doing it again at the end of this year. It has become my favorite shore excursion.
