Hi ,has anyone done this?

My husband wants to book it for my 65 birthday on the 2nd of jan 2014

Do you have to book it with the ship as there is not many places left

Would appreciate anyone's advice ?

Thanks in advance

Eileen

Yes we´ve done it, We booked on one cruise, but it was cancelled due to low clow and bad weather. "nd timwe was OK again booked thro the ship. Collected from ship in small avn driven to helipad, Safety film, weighed. I sat up with the pilot, in a clear bubble so you can seeinfront out the side and DOWN, everyone has a head set to they can communicate. It was fine for the first few minutes, but quite a shock when we went out over the sea. I kept telling myself it had cost a fortune so I´d better enjoy it!! The pilot was very informative and in the end I di enjoy it, but I think it will be my only time in a helicopter.
