Being a Milestoner was my goal, and loved it until they made it seem like a bump in the road to their new elite Diamond level, offering nothing extra special to me but a one time steakhouse dinner, oh I almost forgot, the luggage tag too!

I have 306 Carnival days, with 25 or so coming up....all since Sept of 2006, with other brands in the mix, and some other years past.....close to 500 over all. Still have my Diamond...2/3 rd in a cabin, or Up graded to spend, since reaching Diamond, but have used the 50% off csbin rate for a TA...life is goood...cruzin in 7 days....YOWZAAH !

There were about 750 Diamonds when the program was introduced....

 

I am thinking I heard closer to 900 now....

 

of course not all 900 are Cruise Critic members.

Yes, the "Diamond" population is absolutely growing. On many cruises in the past, I was the only "Diamond" aboard, but that hasn't happened recently. Now, even on the "Fantasy" class ships, on short 4 or 5 day cruises, there are often 6 or more "Diamond" passengers. ;)

we have 7 cruises and s50 days pm RC

and what is the next level up on RC (I know RC treats their loyals very nice

but if we only went on RC we would have half the cruises we do

My favorite is Disney but they are WAY too expensive

The magic number is 80 points. Points are achieved by nights sailed and/or booking suites. We have 126.......diamond plus is 175.
