Rare RachelG Posted December 8, 2013 #26 Share Posted December 8, 2013 A week would be a bit long for Granada. We were there 2 nights on a land trip and that was plenty. 1 day for Alhambra, and 1 for everything else. Alhambra can also be easily done as a day trip on a cruise if you have a port day in Malaga. alexandra cruiser Posted December 8, 2013 Author #27 Share Posted December 8, 2013 and spent 3 days in Madrid on own before, agree 2 days in Grenada would be ideal,at least. I don t speak the language,so it would be a help, but most people spoke enough English that we did ok. My DH won t drive anymore in Europe, so ex.for train, will stick with cruises as we have done many inland cities before. ;)

alexandra cruiser Posted December 9, 2013 Author #29 Share Posted December 9, 2013 go first. We wanted a jr.suite and only 2 avail.so can understand those being booked far in advance. Have never taken this level on river cruise and want to try it and see if worth the money.Like the bathtub, full balcony, and room service .. usually go for mid cabin, mid deck.:)
