While I was trying to work my magic on him, I had an altercation with a man taking pictures of his wife. As you can see, even the cat is giving the man the stink eye.

 

 

 

Rather than upset the cat, I moved on (muttering under my breath).

This review has been very cat friendly and I want to apologize to all the dog people out there.

Maureen, don't know when I've enjoyed a review as much as I have yours. Matter of fact, I don't think I ever have......oh wait, forgot about Sailor Jack, and Radio always does a good one but you're still number one in my book.

 

Can't wait to get to the Hemmingway House.....it's all about the CATS.:D Was wondering what else to do in Key West and the butterfly conservatory is now definitely on my list, thank you, thank you. Hope to hit the Kino sandal factory in KW. Cape Canaveral has me at a loss, I'm not into space although I've been called a space cadet.:p I will never find a shell with my name on it.:(

It was so good! I thought it was the best food I have ever tasted. This is also when I finally opened up my smuggled Coke. I drank almost half the bottle!

Well, there was only one other quintessentially KW activity to partake in. So, I went up on the deck to take pictures of the sunset. The band was playing as we sailed away.

The clouds were very strange, they were very foreboding and then there was a small patch of blue with the clouds going in the opposite direction.

After the pilot left, it brightened up a bit.

 

 

 

 

So, I went in a door I hadn't been in before and found myself in the kids' area.

The kids use the Claw to try to capture some serious bling.

 

 

 

Henry's son was up in the kid's club.

 

 

 

 

The show that night was the Divas of Motown. I mentioned them earlier in response to a poster's question. If you get a chance to see them, take it! They were great. Since I had room service earlier, I wasn't hungry, so, I went to the early show.

 

I brought a glass of wine from my cabin to the show and was playing with taking pictures of it while waiting for the show to start.

As you can see, the main floor is single seats. Each seat has a cup holder like this. They are nice except for one thing. They will not hold a glass of wine, the base is too large. So, if you sit here, you must hold your wine.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now, if you are a bigger person or you just like to spread out, or you have a glass of wine, the balcony has couches like this with little tables in addition to the cup holders.

Thanks for a great review.........looking forward reading the rest. We moved from Lynchburg in 2007 - lived there for 19 years.........I especially enjoyed your first few pictures of Lynchburg - train station, park, etc.........fond memories!!

Love all your pics from Key West. And yes, frozen chocolate covered Key Lime pie IS the best thing to eat there;) Next time you get to KW, if you go to Blue Heaven, you can have lunch with all the chickens and cats that roam the grounds there.

I cannot tell you how sorry I am that we did not meet on this cruise. Both of us being solos and cat lovers, how could we not have hit it off.

Your review is one the most entertaining I have ever read on cruise critic. I believe you may have missed your calling. You are a terrific writer with a great sense of humor.

Another critter - he must have been on the Enchantment, because I never saw him again. He looks hotter than the little guy.

 

 

 

I was on EN when you were on GR and yes, this service dog is from EN. Her name is Suzanne and she's 9 years old. Her owner was cruising with her parents. Suzanne alerts her owner to when a seizure is imminent. The whole family are really nice people. I've sailed with them before and hope to see them again sometime before they retire Suzanne in 2 years.

After I woke up, I mean, after the news was over, I was a bit hungry. It was formal night, which I would not be participating in, so, I headed to the Park Cafe for a little pre-dinner.

As we like to say, it is INCLUDED in your cruise fare, in other words, free to you once you are on the ship. It is a nice little venue for an alternative to MDR or WJ. On some ships, it closes at 6pm, but, on others, it is open for late night snacks. What ship are you sailing on?

Hi Nat! Congrats on your next cruise - I haven't done Princess yet, but, am considering them for a birthday cruise to Alaska next September. Amtrak was a great alternative. I don't have anything planned yet, been too busy writing this review. :p
