Shore Excursion: Taste Of Mexico - Ensenada

Hi,

 

We are going to Ensenada over Xmas, and booked the Taste of Mexico. I was wondering if anyone has done that one, and how they liked it. We originally booked the wine tour, and today they cancelled it without reason...so we were disappointed.

Hmmm. I vote for the wine tour. Maybe they will add a different one.

I'll keep my eye out to see if they do add another winery tour. If not I'm sure this one would be fine.

Well, if they cancel that one too, I can tell you "don't bother with the tour that goes north up the coast for a scenic drive to a beach restaurant in the area called La Fonda".

Considering that it goes half-way back to San Diego, and there really was not much to see/do at La Fonda, I found it to be a waste of a trip. Oh wait, there was one fun thing: crossing over the visible earth-quake fault lines running over the freeway on the way. :rolleyes:

Depending on the exact dates, the excursion was probably canceled because the wineries were closed at that time of year. Mexico gets really family oriented around Christmas!!
