Latest time to board?

Half of my group wants to hang in New Orleans for part of the day tomorrow instead of boarding the ship around 11. What is the latest anyone has boarded and is it crowded the later you wait?? Thanks!!

Peak crowds seem to be about 12:30 until around 2 pm. You definitely want to be in the line and waiting to process by 2 pm for a 4 pm sailing.

Supposed to be there 2 hrs before departure. The later you go the less crowded.

It's going to be cold and rainy in NOLA on Sunday. Not a great time for exploring NOLA.

 

Get on the Jewel where you'll be warm and well taken care off.

2 pm or you probably won't get on!!! Going to be a bad day for walking around NO!!

I would disagree. The last time we were there, cold, wet= still equalled good time.
