jmhlaw Posted December 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 11, 2013 We have always taken a taxi to the FLL airport upon disembarkation in Port Everglades. We disembark the Silhouette on Sunday Feb 2,2014 and have a 1:17pm flight. We've never had a problem getting a cab but have heard that the taxi queues at the Silhouette have been exceptionally long in prior seasons due to other ships sharing a queue. Does anybody know if this is true? Also, what terminal does the Silhouette use? Thanks.
CruiserBruce Posted December 11, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 11, 2013 First, a 1:17 flight is very safe, so a wait for the taxi, if that should occur, is not a problem. Second, do a web search for the Port Everglades website a few weeks in advance. You will get an idea what terminal you might use, by previous terminal assignments. eandj Posted December 11, 2013 #3 Share Posted December 11, 2013 The terminal number will be on your cruise documents. Too you can ask on the X board. We cruised Sil. but I really don't remember the terminal. Lines for cabs can be longish at anytime, any terminal. Since your flight is so "late", I'd just hang out on the ship and wait to be "thrown off". ;) Thus avoiding the thousands hurrying to catch those earlier flights.
