justthebeach Posted December 14, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2013 We are cruising on the Epic on the 28th and I was wondering if anyone had been to Cabbage beach lately? We have done the day passes at the Sheraton at Cable Beach but were looking for something a little different? Thanks

We have done the day passes at the Sheraton at Cable Beach but were looking for something a little different? Thanks While it is a public beach, junkanoo is free and not a far walk. Not the best beach in the world, but it wasn't very crowded the one time we tried it. There are some huts that sell food and drinks as well. We have done the day passes at the Sheraton at Cable Beach but were looking for something a little different? Thanks Cabbage Beach has been very rough lately, ( and will probably remain so during the winter months). For calmer water, Junkanoo or Cable Beach would be a better choice Keep in mind this is winter.. water temps are closer to 70.. not great for swimming, but you should be able to take a quick dip and relax on the beach. justthebeach Posted December 15, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted December 15, 2013 Thanks for the responses. We realize it may be a little cool but just wanted something a little different to do. We are taking our kids, 12 & 14 this time. They want to just hang out or rent a jet ski.
scubagirrl Posted December 16, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 16, 2013 Thanks for the responses. We realize it may be a little cool but just wanted something a little different to do. We are taking our kids, 12 & 14 this time. They want to just hang out or rent a jet ski. They have to be 18 with a license to rent a jet ski. Jet Ski's are quite dangerous in these high volume areas. We have accidents here at least a couple times a week. Some fatal.
