We're flying into Ft. Lauderdale a couple of days prior to our cruise (flying in January 30th, 2014) and want to do an Everglades boat tour...there are so many to choose from...wondering if anyone has suggestions of who to book with or who not too book with. Also wondering about getting to the boat tour...will have to rent a car or do some pick up at hotels??

I'd check with your hotel via email or call and see if they might do regular business with a certain company that picks up.

When we did it, it was a post cruise excursion and we were taken to Holiday Park which is a popular spot with the ships I guess.

we really enjoyed our tour with Everglades Holiday Park several years ago. I don't know if they pick up at Hotels, we had a rental car. It is several miles out to it. So not something you want to take a cab to.
