San Juan flight

Absolutely! We had a 2:15 flight and we were sooooooo early arriving at the airport in SanJuan. I had wished I had booked an earlier flight. I believe we got there around 10 or 10:30 timeframe. At that time, there were lines but they moved relatively quickly.

We had a 1:30pm flight, ate a leisurely breakfast in the MDR and started debarkation at about 9:30am. By the time we got our luggage and went through customs it was 10:30am and we were handing over our luggage after going through Agricultural Inspection and arrived at our gate by 11:30am, with a 2 hour wait until out flight left.

You will have NO PROBLEMS with a 2:00pm flight.

And this was the Sunday after Thanksgiving, the busiest travel day of the year.

Not to be a party pooper but our Sunday flight experience out of San Juan was way less than OK. Arrived at 9:00 for 2:00 flight. 5 ships returning to port that day equaled 1000's at the airport. 1 1/2 hours through the ag inspection, then 2 hours in the US Air line to check bags. When we finally arrived at security there were so many waiting. We were not going to make our flight. Our flight ended up cancelled and we rebooked out at 8:15.

Now the blessing to it all. We got to see a shuttle launch right as were flying down the middle of Florida. One of the most awesome things. Crystal clear skies at sun down. People taking turns at the windows.

Hoping your flight experience is a great one!

We had a similar experience. We were booked for a 4 something flight got there SUPER early because everyone made a huge deal about the SJ airport and we ended up sitting there for hourssssssss. Food in the airport was SOOOO expensive. We tried getting an earlier flight once there but everything was booked. Your flight time is perfect

Yeah I kept reading on here about how bad San Juan Airport is, and the hours it took for AG Inspections, etc. We had a 1:15PM flight, so we got of the ship early and got to the airport by like 8. We ended up sitting there FOREVER with nothing to do! half the stuff in the airport wasnt open yet, and they dont even have WiFi ANYWHERE! It sucked. Dont book a later flight, we could have easily made a 10AM flight, let alone anything in the afternoon. The horror stories on here about San Juan are either REALLY outdated or over blown.
