Wait list

Our cruise is Miami to Miami, in January on the Regent Navigator. We are on a wait list for one of the catamaran excursions. Not having cruised with Regent before, I wondered what happens next. Do we try and rebook this trip as soon as boarding or wait to be informed or offered an alternative. Thanks for any clarification.

re status of wait list exc.Almost all of them we were able to get on.Can always call and ask a little before.Think they try to make arrangements for extra people, more buses, etc.if they get a lot for 1 particular exc.Seems they tend to also extra ones after we re onboard, and have changed to those on a few occ.;)

We have cleared a wait list right as the excursion was getting ready to leave, so not all is lost. But most times, we clear before the cruise even starts.

My advice would be to go to the excursion desk once on board if you have not cleared prior to that. They can tell you how many people are on the wait list and usually give you an idea if it will clear. They can also put you on another excursion if you want to do that.
