I noticed many are taking back to back cruise on the jewel southern carribbean what excursion are available feb 1 after we arrive san juan and waiting to depart all that are listed are to airport and not back to pier

if u have done a btb how and what did u do

The easiest thing to do if you want to leave the ship is to grab a taxi into Old San Juan and go see the forts, have lunch, wander around OSJ and then head back to the ship before it sails. You'll get an " In Transit" pass when you get your new sea pass cards so you don't have to wait in all the lines to get back onboard. We usually just stay onboard it's kinda nice to have the ship to yourselves for a few hours. If there are enough back to backers they will have a special lunch for you in the main dinning room.

You could also find a taxi or tour operator at the port to take you up to El Yunque ( the rainforest ) and spend some time hiking. Just make sure they understand you want to come back to the pier not the airport. You could ask over on the San Juan boards about independent tour operators.

We did the b2b in October. RC offered several excursions but as the previous poster said you can do them on your own. I'd take a taxi into Old San Juan and use their free trolley system to go to El Murro, the Governor's Mansion, the Cathedral and walk around the old city. Be sure to stop at Barranchina's on Forteleza, home of the original Pina Colada. Or if you are a beach person, there are beautiful beaches there.

We did not get off between cruises because we have been to San Juan many times. RC held a very nice luncheon for those that stayed on the ship.
