mjonis Posted December 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 20, 2013 Anyone know if there are free weights (bar bells?) in the Fitness Center? Any small size like 1-2lbs? I have physical therapy stuff I have to do, so I figured I'd ask ahead of time before packing my 6 lbs of weights (assuming I can even do that). Not sure how much the small ones weigh.
Jmfletcher825 Posted December 20, 2013 #3 Share Posted December 20, 2013 Are there kettle bells by chance as well?
SamFritz Posted December 20, 2013 #4 Share Posted December 20, 2013 You do not have to pay to use them so that are actually free free weights. : ) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk, please excuse all the typos.
CVU Posted December 20, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 20, 2013 Yes, there are free weights. Not sure how much the small ones weigh. The small ones are light, maybe starting at 3 lb and up and then there are the BIG ones!! in another section.

I don't know if this matters to you but they are fixed weight dumbbells. Are there kettle bells by chance as well? I've never seen kettlebells on a ship. There ones, twos, threes - so physical therapy exercises should be no problem.

Hey, I was thinking of using that line. But I was going to say that if the cruise line could figure out a way to charge for free weights, they would. Paulette3028 Posted December 20, 2013 #10 Share Posted December 20, 2013 Are there kettle bells by chance as well? I have not seen the kettle bell style weights on ships; but they do have 1,2 and 3lb weights; then 5lb and up.
Justthatgoodguyjim Posted December 21, 2013 #11 Share Posted December 21, 2013 Aluminum filled with liquid. If they are too heavy, you can drink down the weight. A good workout could leave you happy and a headache later.
