Has anyone taken one? Is there anything different about the cruise or is it just pricing? I'm thinking of taking the splendor in jan thanks in advance

I took my 1st one on the Magic in October. It was great. They gave us Players Club lanyards to identify us as Premier Cruisers entitled to free drinks from the very beginning. Every evening there were drawings for cash prizes $1000+, a free slot tournament (I came in 8th and got $50), free casino cash (I got $500), goodies in the cabin almost everyday (12 cookies from the coffee shop, chocolate covered strawberries, 2 bottles of water, a wine and cheese basket, 2 really plush Players Club beach towels.

The really great thing is that the offer came to me based on my previous play, but my sister who I travel with got all the same perks right along with me.

I can't wait to go on another one.

Did your sister even get the $500 casino cash? (I'm serious) I'll be going on my 1st casino premier cruise next month, and have a friend that has never been on a cruise before-the perks will be nice, but I'd hate for to get "too" spoiled, on his 1st cruise:D. What will be especially nice is that we'll have a balcony on the spa deck (this is be my 1st one, as I've only ever had an inside cabin) Balcony came from an upgrade from an OV thru the Holiday Sale-bad news is that it won't include the spa amenities, as it was an upgrade.:(

Enjoy your next premier casino cruise, as well as the OP enjoying their's as well!

Unfortunately because we're old women we can't remember.......and because we won a truck load of money on that cruise it just seemed like we had pockets full of money all the time....

But in all seriousness....I know that we were suppose to each get $250, but when I went to the casino cage they gave me $500, I was thinking it was because I was also Diamond on that cruise..........We had friends on the same cruise and the husband had the offer with the wife getting the same amount, but when they went to the cage he got $300 and she just got the $250....

All of the other incabin gifts were doubled so what ever I got she got also, including all the special invitation only events.

Good luck to you too....it really was fun and I look forward to booking another one soon.........I only have the Bloggers cruise in February booked right now, because we're waiting for the Casino cruises to be published later in the year..........

BTW.....they have changed the "On Us" promotion so that you still get free drinks after 1500 points, but if you go over 5000 points you'll get the On Us card at the very beginning of the next cruise.

We went on one this past August and received $300 cash, private party, lanyards, free drinks every day in the casino (my spouse and I), drawings every day, two bottles of wine, two large bottles of water, cookies, cheese and crackers, fruit, and two leather-bound travel journals. I think there were other things but I can't exactly rememer.

Two months after the cruise we received a letter from Carnival offering a free cabin on select cruises so we are going again. It didn't say that it was a casino offer because some folks got the letter who never stepped foot into the casino. The Carnival rep said it may be because we are nearing Platinum status. Who knows - I don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hello everyone..i have a question regarding the premiere cruise. We just got offer today and i had a cruise already booked for May but decided to change using this offer for June. They were able to cancel and book me but had no details about the premiere offers? Transferred me to someone who could explain but they never answered and voice box full lol. So I'm a little confused. Should my booking say premiere cruise and when do you get the packet in mail described in letter? Thanks

Any info on the perks you received would be great:D

I got the same things as this on my November premier cruise. The only difference is that I got engraved wine glasses as the gift instead of the journals.

Did you get an invitation for the premier cruise? Carnival recently sent out a new offer for several premier sailings/ships. I got mine today, but it was delayed a little because I just back from a cruise yesterday and the invitation was in my held mail that was delivered today.

I'm going on my first Premier Cruise March 9th and looking forward to it. I just hope the casino isn't too full and drinks aren't difficult to get.

Do they announce how many Premier Cruisers are on each cruise

limited to 100 cabins per cruise.

Our experience has been if only you receive an invite usually then only you get the cash. A guest in your cabin gets the drink card and invites to the cocktail party and you'll only receive one gift per night. If you both received two seperate invites then the cash amount is on the invite.

Not sure if I am reading this right does my wife get all the same perks? The drinks own us and the cash? Or it the cash offer just for me? Thanks in advance

You will both get the drinks on us card right away. The casino cash is just for you.

Here are answers to several above questions ...yes casino is packed but they were very good about the drinks, the gifts can be different every cruise ( we have 5 different gifts for 5 cruises), your info packet usually comes a couple weeks before sail away, best place for info is the Carnival Players Club. Our PVP is great but they themselves get very little info. We have been on 5 or 6 and they are great fun! If you get an invite with your name on it ,it has the cash amount on it. But it never hurts to ask when you get in the casino if only one of you received one. It mostly of course is based on your play.

Thank you for all the info:D I have one more question. Did your documents say that this was booked as premiere cruise? Mine don't and I'm only concerned that when i booked i did say i had the letter and code pc3 but the girl actually asked me how much cash and said she had no info on my offers? So i just want to make sure i did get booked properly because I actually paid more for this cruise then the one I was already on. Thank you

lol answered my own question..I called ocean players club and they said yes it booked premiere and might not say vip boarding on documents. She said to get in vip line and we will be on a list. She also said they don't send out the packet in mail like they say they will in letter anymore. Hope this info helps someone else.
