Has anyone been to this berth in San Pedro? On all of our other cruises we left from the one that was near the USS Iowa which I think is the main terminal. Do they have plenty of seating in the terminal while you are waiting to board?

Seating tends to at at premium at San Pedro.

Found this doing a "Google" search. I believe this is still just an asphalt lot. It is an "overflow" docking area when there are too many ships in port. The one time I had any experience with this Berth was when meeting a crew member. He advised us that the guests were being shuttled from the terminal area you are familiar with down to Berth 46.

I am not sure if this information is still accurate but you can probably contact the Port of Los Angeles to confirm.

On one cruise from San Pedro there were 3 ships in port. Two where on turn around days and the other was on a port call. The parking lot was mad house with vehicles coming and going . Also tour busses from the third ship.
