P and O Oriana. A CABIN TO AVOID. E103

we were "upgraded"twice from the stern to the middle and finally to E103. Just beneath our cabin or so it sounded was the bow propulsion unit and beneath our cabin were the winches for the hawsers. On the second sleepless night we rang reception and asked to speak to a senior officer. We we're told there're asleep!!!!

I would very much like to have been in that blissful situation. We're on ashore cruise to Amsterdam and the nearer we got to Amsterdam the more they used the propulsion unit and they decided to warm up the cable engines three hours before we docked. The stewardess very kindly offered us EAR PLUGS. I was not amused!!! :mad::mad:
