bibbysnow Posted December 30, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2013 We are arriving in Port of Miami and need transportation to a hotel in Fort Lauderdale. We normally use SAS but they only go to the airport. I am considering taking a taxi to the MIA airport and renting a car, and returning it to FLL airport the next day. Any suggestions? JohninDC Posted December 30, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 30, 2013 A rental car is not a bad option. Some of the car rental companies offer free shuttles to their MIA airport locations - National, Alamo and Thrifty. Or there are car rental offices in downtown Miami close to POM that should only be a $12-13+tip cab ride from POM (Avis, Dollar). Other shuttle providers may take you from POM to your hotel - check with QLS, Go Airport, MJS and others often mentioned on these boards.
