TrinaLC Posted December 31, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2013 Title pretty much says it all. I know you can pre-order, but we have not yet decided whether to take the drink package. If we decide not to, would like to be able to order a bottle for the room. I recall at one point it was ship specific whether you could do this, and in some cases through guest services, and in other cases through room service. What is the deal these days? Any Conquest specific advice? Thanks!
tropicbird Posted December 31, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 31, 2013 You should be able to go online, under your booking, where the sell the "extras". Under food and beverage are the bottles.
ianturner Posted December 31, 2013 #3 Share Posted December 31, 2013 You can order liquor from room service, cost is the same as Bon Voyage.
Beachlover76 Posted January 2, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 2, 2014 or you can go to the area that sells flowers and Tux, and order a bottle there, pay for it, and it will be in your room with in minutes, done this several times on the Conquest/

GrummanTiger Posted January 2, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 2, 2014 (edited) Wow. I didn't know this! The prices the same as the on-line Bon Voyage store. Well, at least I know I can get one if I want. Edited January 2, 2014 by GrummanTiger
brad09821 Posted January 2, 2014 #7 Share Posted January 2, 2014 I just ordered a bottle yesterday for my wife and one for me for our cruise on the Breeze for next month. I ordered them through the online fun shop store.
GrummanTiger Posted January 2, 2014 #8 Share Posted January 2, 2014 I know that we can order it PRE boarding, but the OP asked about AFTER boarding and being underway.... THAT I did not know you could do! :)
VeggieGirl83 Posted January 2, 2014 #9 Share Posted January 2, 2014 Also, if you wait to order your liquor thru room service after you get into open waters (i.e. around dinner time), you save yourself the 5 bucks or so in tax.
okgirl Posted January 2, 2014 #10 Share Posted January 2, 2014 I just ordered a bottle yesterday for my wife and one for me for our cruise on the Breeze for next month. I ordered them through the online fun shop store. I thought I read recently that they were limiting bottles of liquor to 1 per cabin, or is it one per person? VeggieGirl83 Posted January 2, 2014 #11 Share Posted January 2, 2014 I thought I read recently that they were limiting bottles of liquor to 1 per cabin, or is it one per person? I haven't heard that. Perhaps you're thinking of the duty-free limits; that is one bottle per person. We usually order 3 bottles or so for the room while cruising. CDNJehn Posted January 3, 2014 #13 Share Posted January 3, 2014 This is great info, thanks! I had no idea, I thought Bon Voyage was the only way to order full bottles. Hubby and I were just talking the other day about how much to order without having TOO much. Last time we 'brought' our own onboard but it was such a hassle and added stress of being caught. Not something is care to spend time doing again, especially if we can just buy bottles onboard.
Beachlover76 Posted January 5, 2014 #14 Share Posted January 5, 2014 yes you can do this, do it every time. That way if yours gets taken you still have another option...
crusinpsychRN Posted January 5, 2014 #15 Share Posted January 5, 2014 I thought I read recently that they were limiting bottles of liquor to 1 per cabin, or is it one per person? I just did a mock purchase and BV only allowed 2 bottles of liquor. More rum runner sales....
