Millennium class updates? Insights

It has been a while since we sailed Celebrity, although we have always enjoyed it.

Can anyone tell us when the latest updates were made to infinity, and what they were? We are particularly curious about:

1) balconies added to Celebrity suites. Are they nice? Seemed like a good move that was overdue, but wondering how they turned out.

2) refurbishment of royal suites. They were very tired and worn out our last few trips. Lots of space but pretty dingy and furniture and fixtures were worn down. Have they been refurbished?

3) adoption of solstice class changes. Anything to share? We are elites, but have not sailed since these changes so curious as to what to expect.

Big fans of Celebrity and loved the Millenium class ships. But lots of changes have been made and we are curious about them.

Thanks in advance!

Hi...all the Millennium Class have been what is termed "Solsticizied".

Restaurants were added, cabins were added, cabins were changed,

Bars have been moved and changed.

1) They all have additional restaurants.

2) The Martini Bars have all been moved and Champagne bar

scrubbed.

3) Oceanview cabins were added were added to deck 3

4) cabins on deck 9 and 10 have been turned into The Aqua Class

Category.

Yes, balconies are now included in the Celebrity Suite category.

Can't help you with the Royal suite questions but I am sure someone

on here will have some answers on that one.

We were in a Celebrity Suite on the Millennium in March, and enjoyed the new balcony. It was the same depth as a regular balcony, but quite long, being the full width as the suite. For sail away we had six people on the balcony, and it did not feel crowded. It was furnished with two new chairs and footstools, along with a table that was large enough and the correct height for two of us to be able to have breakfast or lunch on the balcony.
