Carnival Liberty 94 wraparound Upper Deck

I'm checking out yet another cruise. Originally I was investigating Oct sailings but I'm being promoted and won't be able to take any time off until probably Dec.

Therefore . . . I'm checking into the Liberty just before Xmas. I've heard SO MUCh about the 9A's that I'd LOVE to check them out. The only problem is . . . they've only got the ones left on the Upper Deck. Will these be noisy since they're right above the lounge?? I'm a pretty sound sleeper but . . . DH isn't and since this would be his first cruise I'm kinda concerned. All the other 9A's are booked so I don't have the option of moving up a deck or two.

Any advice or information??

Grab the 9A and make a decision later. You can always make a change.

I love the aft- Stayed on the aft on the Victory on te upper deck--above the lounge. Never heard nothing the whole week. I believe the newer ships have better sound proofing in the cabins then the older ones.

Being on deck 6 is closer to the water too.. which I prefer.
