I took our bottles wine to dinner and I always gave a tip to the bartender who opened the bottle

I thought the policy went into effect on January 1, 2013. Since it was Nov 2012, it must be a Galveston thing since Mariner was sailing from there at this time. If they make everyone stop with wine, that is another good reason to sail from somewhere else.

 

We sailed to Bermuda Oct 14-21, 2012. I remember when the rule changed since we were bummed that we missed the change by a couple of weeks. :(

 

There was a fair amount of confusion about bottle size, where it could be carried and even if it was allowed at several ports when it first began. [read about it on CC--did not actually experience this]
