3319 on Amsterdam?

I've never been in this cabin, but I've been in other "sideways" cabins on all the R-class, and some of the S-class ships.

What would you like to know about them?

Is the configuration better, the same, or worse than standard insides? Any advantages to booking one in terms of layout? Thanks.

First, this is a "large" inside, not a "standard" inside; those are very different categories.

If this is a "sideways" cabin (and the deckplan looks like it is), then it is a little larger than the other large insides, and configured differently. There seems to be sufficient room for three nightstands (although there are only the two), so the room is wider by the same amount. Plenty of room to walk around.

 

The closets are on different walls from each other, so two people can be at their things at the same time.

There's plenty of storage.

 

The bathroom opens directly into the cabin, so the light at night will shine directly into the room. A nightlight, or flashlight, is a good idea.

 

There is no curtain to separate the dressing area from the cabin door, as there is no real dressing area. It's important to be careful when opening that cabin door if someone is asleep or dressing. There is no privacy from the passageway.

 

This is my favorite configuration inside cabin on the S- & R-class ships, and I book one whenever I can.

Thanks so much for the info. This particular cabin is below the Queen's Lounge - not under the stage but under seats, etc. Do you think it might be noisy? Thanks!
