Casino on Liberty or similar ship... questions!!

Is there a place to put your seapass in the slot machines? Does it track your play/how much you spend/etc and if you play a lot they will send you a credit for future cruise casino play? What about when playing table games (we mostly do blackjack and craps), can you give them your seapass card to track play?

Last RCI cruise we were on was navigator many years ago and I don't remember a slot for our seapass card. Hoping Libery has them!

On Liberty in Dec. 2013:

Yes there is a slot. They are insisting you use your card. Some lady otherwise known as a Slot Attendant came screaming at me "Oh you must use your card, Especially if you are playing .75. Where is you card?" I showed it to her and she took it from me punched a hold in it and put a strap on it and said. "See how they are doing it.....pointing to the guy and gal next to me. :-) (I use to be a Slot Attendant and do not care to play with my card...I'm not a big gambler and I have plenty of T-shirts.

By the end of the week I was screaming at her...."I don't want to use my card." It was kinda funny....she jumped back and said "Oh I'm sorry"

Ther is a players club if You play enough you will be asked to join Club Royale.

You should play with your SeaPass card in to earn points. Even if you don't qualify for Club Royale, you can cash in your points at the end of the cruise for trinkets (key chains, t-shirts) or cash.

To qualify for Club royale, you'd need to earn about 2,000 points. Once you're a member, then your tracked play can be used to earn cash rebates toward future Royal Caribbean cruises.

In shore based casinos if you leave your card in the machine, you just go get a new one.

On the ship it's your room key. If you forget it it could lead to real problems. Your card has your room number on it, but does not have the deck number.

You have to play a long time to get anything more than a keychain. To me it isn't worth the risk.

My first cruise I played penny slots and use my sea pass. The fourth night I ask to see a host and join club Royale. I didn't play much either. I didn't get much from it but my last cruise (November) I called club Royale and they actually gave an inside room for free for my guest and I. I just pay taxes and gratuities and if I wanted a bigger room I pay the difference. So I upgraded to a juinor suite 9326 for 707.14 for both. Not bad for playing slots on my first cruise. So it doesn't hurt if u join and get to know a host on board. They can get u what u want. Oh...and our drinks were free at the casino bar. I don't drink but they made great virgin piña coladas. That's also a savings in itself!

Do you they track your card from cruise to cruise? We've been fairly regular Royal cruisers lately. I usually keep my seapass on a lanyard anyway, since I don't always have pockets.

On Princess you could charge money to your on-board account, without incurring a fee. It was so convenient, but so tempting to go over your budget!

U need to join club Royale. They do track ur play. Then the next cruise just call them and see what they can do for u. I take money out from account and my fee is waived. So I'm taking cash out without paying a fee. If I won something I run to put money back to my account. That way I don't incurr too my debt at the end.

They (Club Royale, at least) probably do, but the points are only valid on that particular cruise. The points themselves don't carry forward.

Like Ctrinh25 says, you would need to be a Club Royale member to get the 5% fee waived. Everyone else has to pay 5% to withdraw money from your SeaPass account. Note that this is done only at the casino cashier. Unlike other cruise lines, you cannot play using money on your SeaPass card directly in the slot machines. They take cash or cash-out tickets only (TITO).
