Hi! Still trying to find out whether Sarper Suner is back from vacation and, if so, which ship he might be on. We are booked on the Sun for January and hoping that he will be back as Hotel Director by then.

GB58, the concierge on the Pearl is Elvina and she is outstanding! Just disembarked on 12/1 and Elvina never seemed to sleep and was always to be found at her desk in Moderno during breakfast and lunch. She was readily available by phone and stopped by our table most evenings just to say "hi" while we were dining. A true Vacation Hero!

Have a GREAT time. Please come back with full review. We will be on the SUN in January and would love to know (if not to early) who will be on the ship then and especially who the concierge & butlers will be.

NJLVW,

 

Sorry it took so long. But, our basement freezer went bad while we were gone. We were just able to finish the clean up, deodorize the house, and buy a new freezer in time for Thanksgiving. Then we put up the Chanukah/Christmas decorations over the post Turkey Day week end.

We had 1001 and 1002 on the Sun in 2008. Our daughters were in the "balcony" room (1002) but their room was larger than our connecting minisuite (we had a much larger bathroom with a bathtub though). I would take either of those rooms again in a heartbeat! Loved them both.
