dotsofunn Posted January 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2014 We are a family of 8 and would like a taxi/van driver to take us over to The Crane for the day on Feb. 5, 2014. Any recommendations would be appreciated. E-mail address to make contact. Thanks, Jan
dotsofunn Posted January 15, 2014 Author #2 Share Posted January 15, 2014 I received a quote from Tyrone Griffith for $200 for the day. I thought this was a little steep for just wanting a ride to The Crane and back to the ship...no tour needed. Any other suggestions? Thanks. Aplmac Posted January 15, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 15, 2014 (edited) I received a quote from Tyrone Griffith for $200 for the day. I thought this was a little steep for just wanting a ride to The Crane and back to the ship...no tour needed.. Exactly WHAT 200 dollars is he talking about?? Two Hundred Barbados Dollars? (= US$100) -or is he talking about Two Hundred U.S. Dollars. (= Bds. $400) These fellas play tricks with your ignorance of currency exchange rates! BE CAREFUL! You've been warned! Hey, for Bds.$200 a day (not 200 US$) *I* will come pick you up, take you to the Crane, wait on you and bring you back, OK? :D . I was charged $120 for three people to the Crane Beach Hotel. Be sure to contact the hotel if you are looking for day passes....if they are full, they might not allow day passes for the day. I asked to see a manager and said that I had been there many times and they allowed me to use the facilities and purchase food and beverage without needing a day pass. they were so nice. dotsofunn Posted January 18, 2014 Author #7 Share Posted January 18, 2014 Thanks Don for your help. When were you there last? We have also been there several times and only once did we need to get a day pass. Jan
