S.A.M.J.R. Posted January 9, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2014 Yes, I searched, but didn't find the answer to my question (although I may have missed it). And yes, I understand on Freedom, the "books" are on the SeaPasses. Are the books 1/stateroom or 1/C&A member? DW & I are travelling with the kids (no status) in two rooms. DW & I are registered in one room. Do we each get the coupons or is there a "1 per stateroom" limit? If so, is it worth swapping one of us for one of the kids across the hall to get a 2nd book? Thank you

Thank you When we sailed Freedom last May, my husband and I each got the coupons loaded to our sea pass card, so one per C&A member. From my understanding ALL of the fleet is paperless coupons now. Everything is on your sea pass. But remember, you must ask to redeem it at the time as they won't just "use it" without your request.
tserface Posted January 9, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 9, 2014 I think this is a super great idea. No more running back to your room to get that extra card bingo or 2 for 1 wine coupon you forgot to bring along. Also, I'd imagine, it saves a lot of paper and cuts costs without cutting benefits. Good on them. Tom When we sailed Freedom last May, my husband and I each got the coupons loaded to our sea pass card, so one per C&A member. kwbrad Posted January 9, 2014 #7 Share Posted January 9, 2014 Can I piggyback on this question... Have the coupons changed since going to the card instead of paper? If the coffee coupon is still there (I think for gold it was like 25% off or something on specialty coffee) - can you use it for hot chocolate instead? I don't drink coffee but love a hot cocoa late at night when it is cool on deck.

My experience is that hot chocolate packets are free in venues like Cafe Promenade. Edited January 9, 2014 by clarea

I always spend the couple of bucks and get it at the coffee shop.
tserface Posted January 9, 2014 #10 Share Posted January 9, 2014 Probably a good idea. As Smokey tells us playing with matches is a really bad idea. We haven't had the electronic versions yet, but on our last 2 cruises we were allowed to use our bogo coupons for hot chocolate at Latitudes... they are yummy made with hot milk & whip on top! On Mariner, I don't see them at Cafe Promenade so I always had to order it through room service.

I've never asked for them.

nanwel Posted January 9, 2014 #20 Share Posted January 9, 2014 FYI for the hot chocolate lovers - I make it by adding a couple of creamers for coffee - wisk with a fork, then add hot water - better than just the hot water!
