socim Posted January 10, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2014 Hi, Can anyone give me a link to info that describes the differences between these Stateroom classifications on MS Zuiderdam? Or can anyone give a simple breakdown of the key differences? I've tried to find the answer in the forums etc. but failed. Thanks, Stuart
jtl513 Posted January 10, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2014 (edited) The only differences are the location and the size of the balconies. Right now we can say the side VA-VC have 6 ft deep balconies, the VD 7.5 ft, the VE 4.5 ft, the VF either 4.5 ft or 7.5 ft depending on the deck, and the VH 7.5 ft. The deck 4 VF and the VH have steel-walled balconies rather than plexiglass. However, most of that generalization goes out the window after May 9th, when most of the cabins get re-categorized, and you will have to ask us about specific cabin numbers. :(:( p.s. - Welcome to Cruise Critic. :) Edited January 10, 2014 by jtl513
Krazy Kruizers Posted January 10, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 10, 2014 Welcome to Cruise Critic. When will you be sailing on the Zuiderdam? After May 9th some of the categories will be changed on this ship. Specifically what cabin category are you considering?
socim Posted January 10, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted January 10, 2014 Many thanks. That was very informative. Best wishes, Stuart
Sea Belle Posted January 10, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 10, 2014 The new classifications showing all changes are now shown on the HAL site. You clic on the date period you are interested in. There are many changes so don't rely on any old guides you might have on hand. :p
