Giovani's Table vs. Portofino?

I guess it depends on if you like a more upscale dining venue or if you prefer a more casual, mass market place.

 

I prefer the more upscale atmosphere of Portofino and I think the food is superior as well.

 

Obviously food is very subjective, so I would recommend a person try both places. Sadly, Portofino won't be around much longer and it is a loss to our cruising enjoyment.

I am gleaning from all this that most folks think Giovani's food is superior but Portfino is / was a little more upscale & intimate.

 

Thanks everyone for your opinions & information. Maybe we'll give Giovani's a try for lunch?
