Opinions on royal princess lido deck rooms?

I'm due to sail soon. I booked an inside room on the Lido deck to be close to friends. Anyone booked one of theses rooms? I didn't do my homework before booking, and now I'm reading it may be very noisy? Please let me know?!

I was on the Royal recently and, IMHO, the Lido deck was the quietest of all the decks. I walked around there a few times and it was sooooo quiet. I have booked a Lido deck room on my next Royal cruise and wanted to see if it was noisy. Those cabins are under the Sanctuary. A few people have posted as saying it was very quiet.

Our friends were in a Lido cabin on the Royal TA and loved it. They thought it was very quiet but located conveniently to Horizon Court and the pools.

My room on the Lido deck (mini suite) was very quiet. Why would it be noisy, just from what's above? You can't beat the location of the lido deck, especially if you're going to the pool and buffet often.

We've never noticed it being "noisy" and have had a cabin there on RP and similar Princess ships. My only guess is that on a particular sailing, there were some passengers in nearby cabins that were a bit noisy.

Last March I had a Lido cabin on the Ruby, loved the location so much that this year I am doing it again on the Royal. In the morning coffee is set up on the Lido, very convenient. We were near the burgers, bar, and the Sanctuary was right upstairs.

We were in an inside on Lido Deck on the Royal Princess and it was so quiet that we overslept the morning we came back into Fort Lauderdale, and we've never done that on any ship!
