SEA to CDG

Arrive CDG on DL at 11:30AM

Depart CDG for JIB on AF at 11:30PM

Flying economy (L)

What are my options with a 12 hour layover. I am an AS Boardroom member if that means anything.

Is there a hotel at CDG inside the terminal like at MIA?

Ideas suggestions appreciated. First time connecting in Paris.

First, you get to use both the Board Room and the DL SkyClub at SEA. Get your pancakes at the BR, as the breakfast, and coffee offerings are better there (though you have oatmeal at the SC).

At CDG, I don't believe that AS BR membership gets you access to the AF lounges. There is no airside transit hotel, but there are five hotels within the airport complex. The closest is the Sheraton, which is walkable indoors. It's between T2C and T2E at the train station. The others are Hilton, Novotel, Ibis, and Pullman.

Maps of CDG can be found HERE. And overall airport map is HERE. You can see the hotel locations on the overall map.

In all cases, you would have to clear Schengen immigration. Ditto with exit procedures when heading to your JIB flight. Given the amount of time you have, it would be easy to also head into Paris for a bit of sightseeing -- there are AirFrance coaches as well as the RER rail.

FYI, your flights will both arrive and depart from T2E. However, the French gotcha is that while all of the other terminals in the T2 complex have only one building, they have given the designation T2E to a THREE building "terminal". They reference them as Hall K, Hall L and Hall M. You can see them on the overall map linked above.

Hope this is a bit of help. You may want to check with the various hotels directly to see if they offer a dayroom rate.
