Connecting Cabins 6086-84 balcony question

Hi, we are booked in connecting cabins 6086 and 6084 on Constellation. My TA told us that the balconies can connect as well but I read on another thread that they do not ( not about these cabins, just in general). Does anyone know the correct answer to this? Also I have not read much about deck 6 in general. I am guessing it is not as popular because of the life rafts? I see that we will have them right under us but have been assured they do not block the view. Can anyone confirm this as well? Thank you in advance.
