Staggered Boarding Royal Princess 2-2-014

First time I have received this notification in all my cruises.

Have to leave my hotel at 11:00 so I will be there 11:30.

They are saying Prefferred can board at 12:30.

I guess I can wait an hour...lol:D

Every version of the StaggerMail that I have seen, says "those with flexible travel plans" should board as follows... etc.

Your plans aren't flexible, due to the hotel. So there you go.

Did your StaggerMail actually differ from this wording?

No that was the wording...I have just never received one of these before:)

We are actually on this sailing and have not received any notification of staggered boarding. (yet)

It is a suggested time and they have been doing this for the last 4 months. They are not enforcing it at all and did not on my cruise. They are trying to control the boarding but it has not been working too will so far !

We received the same email about staggered boarding on our September sail out of San Francisco. I found out ahead of time that they had been sending this out for that port since the first of the year. It was not enforced as best as I saw.

We sailed on the Royal on 01/12 and also had received a staggered boarding email. We were on the Aloha deck, so we wouldn't have been able to board until 2:00 pm. However, we arrived at Port Everglades at 11:30 and were in our cabins by 12:15! They didn't seem to be enforcing the staggered boarding.

I agree with the times being suggested only.
