neilrod Posted January 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2014 We have always previously bought premium drinks packages. However for our next trip on the Reflection 23rd June, we have been given an included classic package. Does anyone know what is the least expensive way of upgrading to premium, before we sale or whilst onboard? If before how do we go about it. Many thanks

Many thanks Hi, We recently upgraded our free classic drink package to the premium package through our TA. We paid $10 a day plus the 15% gratuity. No problem whatsoever, had my confirmation within hours and it showed up on My Celebrity the next day. Linda

Many thanks It's the generally consensus that it's all the same, before or on board it will cost $10 + 15% tip for a total of $11.50 per person per day, no matter when they upgrade. There are a couple of benefits to waiting till being onboard to upgrade. One would be if you had some OBC you wanted to spend for it. The other would be that you could have the Classic Package for the first few days of the cruise and then upgrade and have the Premium for the last part of the cruise. Not only would you be spending less money this way you could also compare actual usage of the different packages to see which works best for you. jomf Posted January 20, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2014 We upgraded whilst onboard as we had some obc that could not be taken as cash. We could not upgrade beforehand anyway for some reason ( computer glitch?)

telboy18 Posted January 20, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 20, 2014 I don't think UK cruisers can upgrade until onboard.
