The "Getaway"

Hi, Does anyone know when the "Getaway" is coming into the city? I heard early Sunday morning, is that right? Many thanks!:)

If they're up-to-date, a couple of websites indicate that it is scheduled to be at the Port of New York tomorrow/Sunday (1/26) but I can't find the time it's scheduled to dock anywhere.

It is certainly due in on Sunday. Most likely it will be early.

I remember being on deck at 3am on the Breakaway as we went under the bridge. I'm not sure I would bother at that time tomorrow given the forecast temperatures.

I'm keeping a look out on marine traffic off the NY Coast. I reckon she'll be entering the Hudson about 3/4 local time, so about 10hrs time

Great!!! When my insomnia hits around 3:30 or 4 in the morning I'll watch her come in on the Port of New York webcam. I can never find anything good on TV that time of morning.

Don't hold me to it, but a couple of the marine traffic sites state the ship is due at the port at 9:30 UTC time, and if I converted the time correctly, that would be 4:30 a.m. EST. I'm not sure how long it would take to pass the Statute of Liberty and get to the port.

Also wouldn't Breakaway be behind her?

Breakaway sailing dates sometimes confuse me (two days, twelve days, etc.), but I think you are correct the she normally docks in NY on Sunday mornings.

Zoey, Breakaway is on her second 12 day cruise this year. She won't be back into the city until the 31st of January. She will then do a 2 night CTN and return Sunday where she will return to her weekly Sunday sailings.

They will be on the 2nd, but not tomorrow. The Breakaway is on a 12 nighter that started on the 19th. There is a 2 nighter on the 31st that puts it back on schedule.

 

Breakaway in is Barbados tomorrow.

Yeah the Breakaway is doing a 12nt one. So she won't get back until Friday.

 

It's next Friday and then next Sunday they will be alongside each other.
