Cabin Upgrade???

We were upgraded (due to a price drop) from an inside to an large ocean view cabin. Has anyone stayed in these group of cabins? 4580*4586? They are right near the purser desk/shore excursions.

Hoping they will not be noisy. They will be very convenient for my Mom and family friend who are elderly.

Only 31 days to go!!

They say it's not good to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Enjoy the upgrade.

In the future, if you don't want automatic upgrades, then just select the appropriate option in your RCL profile. This will avoid this type of situation going forward.

I'm in room 4584 on Radiance this Monday, I only read good reviews about these cabins and said no noise... Extra large windows compared to the other ocean view cabins too. I didn't hesitate to book one.

You'll love it I'm sure

I believe, if reading the OP's post correctly, that they themselves upgraded due to a price reduction. It was not automatic.

Just an FYI, but if you would like an upgrade, but want to be called first, you must call C&A to have them manually note that on your file as there is no box on the Up Grade Preferences to check for this.

I'm curious. How did you get the upgrade? Did you book this cruise directly through RCCL, or through a TA? I have been upgraded on Carnival and Princess, but I understand that RCCL doesn't do that, so that is why I'm curious.:)

Sounds like the OP 'upgraded' herself by taking advantage of a price drop;)
