Ai Reali Hotel in Venice

I haven't stayed here, but it looks absolutely beautiful, and it is ranked #9 out of 381 hotels in Venice on Tripadvisor. I'd say that's a pretty darn good rating, but you are going to pay for it at around $300 per night.

Just make sure of location, and luggage you have to transport. Have a great trip!

Yes it does look very nice! My concern is navigating through Venice with luggage. We only bring one piece of luggage each, so we are not laden with luggage. I don't view a water taxi as an adventure so 40 euro per minute sounds steep. Have you navigated through Venice?? Cruised out of Venice??

Has anyone stayed in the Ai Reali Hotel in Venice? Any tips on getting there from the airport ? Tips on getting to the dock where you board the Celebrity Silhouette?

There are instructions on the hotel's web site ! http://www.hotelaireali.com/reach_us.htm

They suggest the Alilaguna from the airport. It leaves every half hour and takes an hour. Maybe 15E pp. http://www.alilaguna.it/en/linea-arancio/map

Arriving by water is a nice way to enter Venice!

If you only have 1 wheeled suitcase, you'll be fine. Looks like you only have 1 bridge to cross. There's a bit of a walk to the airport pier ; takes 7-8 minutes but it's flat.

A private water taxi isn't 40E per minute. It would be about 100 E from the airport to Rialto. There's a shared water taxi service also. Maybe there's info about that in this link http://europeforvisitors.com/venice/articles/local-transportation-index.htm
